Misunderstandings re jackalope request

From: Kimberly (MartianShark@msn.com) | Date: 2004-03-07 11:05:00 UTC-05:00
OK, I am totally serious about asking for a stuffed jackalope. I am doing a paper for bio, about a species that might be found on campus. In order to show that it might be found on campus, I want to take a picture of it next to the college sign. (someone else already took bigfoot, which I am curious about). So online pictures or the big statue in south dakota won't help. Does anyone have a stuffed one? Preferably the one made from a real jackrabbit, but I'm having a tough time finding someone who has it (they cost $200, roughly, and being a poor college student, that would knock me out of beer for a very, very long time)

Really--You must go to your local Texas Roadhouse Steakhouse or Longhorn
Saloon Steakhouse. They have them displayed in both places here in my town.
Perhaps your local saloon will let you "borrow" it for a snapshot if you promise
good advertising on campus??
(Just my 2 cents)

If you've got Photoshop or something of that ilk, you could take any of the
pictures and transfer the jackalope into any campus setting you like . . .

Try contacting a local taxidermist. That's where they come from,
after all.

Our local Longhorn restaraunts have stuffed jackelopes--maybe you could
borrow one for a few hours if you have a Longhorn near by???
